Qwilfish is a Water/Poison-type Pokemon that debuted in Generation II, modeled on the pufferfish (and notably the toxic fugu). It inflates its body by swallowing water and fires its poison-tipped spines at threats, and a Hisuian regional form was later introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
ハリーセン (Harysen) is the Japanese name of the Pokemon known in English as Qwilfish. The name combines 'ハリ' (hari, meaning needle or spine) with 'センス' or the harisen (張り扇), a Japanese paper fan, evoking its spiky, balloon-like body covered in needles.
