Sleek and graceful, Servine moves by gliding smoothly through grass and can dazzle opponents by reflecting sunlight off its leaves before striking with vine-based attacks.

The Japanese name ジャノビー (Janobii) is generally understood to combine elements suggesting a snake—possibly from 蛇 (ja/hebi, meaning 'snake')—with sounds evoking growth or 'noble/ivy' qualities, fitting its sleek, regal serpentine design.
