As long as this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, whenever your opponent tries to attach an Energy card from their hand to a Pokémon, they must flip a coin. If tails, your opponent discards that Energy card instead of attaching it, and this doesn't use up their Energy attachment for the turn.

History
Goodra is the final evolution of Goomy, a pure Dragon-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI (Kalos region). Despite its imposing dragon appearance, it is famously gentle, affectionate, and emotionally attached to its trainer, often described as clingy and lonely when separated from those it loves. Its slimy body can absorb and deflect attacks, and it is well-regarded for its high special defense and friendly disposition. A Hisuian regional form, which is part Steel-type and possesses a hardened shell, was later introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Name & meaning
The Japanese name ヌメルゴン (Numerugon) combines 'numeru' (ぬめる, meaning to be slimy or slippery), referencing its gooey body, with 'gon'—a common suffix evoking 'dragon' (as in many dragon-type names). The English name 'Goodra' blends 'goo' (referring to its slimy, mucus-covered form) with 'dra' from 'dragon.' Both names emphasize its slimy texture and Dragon typing.
