It is known for its charming, communal dancing under moonlight and its tiny wings that glow faintly, lending it a graceful, otherworldly quality. Shy and rarely seen, it is a beloved early-generation Pokémon and was once a strong candidate to be the franchise mascot before Pikachu; it later gained the Fairy type in Generation VI and evolves from Cleffa and into Clefable.
